Rates and how quotes are built
Pricing is informational. Every engagement is confirmed in writing before work begins. Amounts below are in South African Rand (ZAR), excluding VAT where applicable.
Fixed-scope packages

Packages assume a single primary application service, one database instance (or readable replica), and up to eight hours of synchronous workshop time. Additional schemas, sharded workloads, or multi-region replicas are quoted separately.
Day rate for advisory retainers
Ongoing advisory—monthly office hours, plan review on pull requests, and ad-hoc incident support—is billed at R 9 200 per day (eight hours), purchased in blocks of five days minimum. Unused days within a quarter roll once; further policy is in the statement of work.
What increases an estimate
- No staging environment that mirrors production statistics— we may need extended capture windows on a replica.
- Restricted access requiring on-site sessions in Gauteng (travel billed at cost with prior approval).
- Legacy stored procedure layers with limited version control history.
- Regulated industries needing extra NDA counsel or dedicated secure channels.
Deposits and payment
New clients pay a 40% deposit to reserve the calendar slot; balance due on delivery of the written report. Invoices are payable within 14 days via EFT. We do not process card payments on this site.
